Stock Pot
Purpose
A tall, large-capacity pot designed for boiling pasta, making stocks, cooking soups, and blanching vegetables. The tall sides minimize evaporation during long simmers.
Usage
Fill no more than two-thirds full to prevent boiling over. Use the largest burner for full-size stock pots. A tight-fitting lid speeds up boiling. Insert a pasta basket or colander for easy draining.
Buying Guide
Choose 8-12 litre for home use. Stainless steel with an aluminum disc bottom provides good heat distribution. A built-in strainer lid or included pasta insert adds convenience. The pot should feel balanced and manageable when full — test the handles.
